Informations about The Table
The Table is a platform that allows its users to get in touch with each other in order to organize and / or participate in social tables in bars, cafè, restaurants, clubs, and similar.
“The Table” is open to anyone and makes no discrimination on race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability and or any other status.
We do our best to make The Table available to all platforms and devices but we can’t guarantee the availability of the software on all devices that exist. By registering, users and hosts accept the software as it is and will not complain or ask refunds for any issue coming from the software: for example and not limited to technical issue , connection issues, etc.
The service provided by The Table as described in these Terms and conditions
Any user, whether a human being or legal entity, of the service.
Users will not share with anyone their credentials to login on The Table
Host (and Place)
A Host is a special user who owns a “Place” (restaurant, cafè, a bar, and all similars) and want to create a “social tables” or Organize an Event on “The Table”. By registering his business on “The Table”, all Hosts declares they have all authorizations in terms of local laws, general and local hygiene laws, and that they have ready for all users a list of allergens before providing any food or drink.
A User who organizes a social table (or an “event”) on “The Table”
A real table inside a Place
A meeting on a table in a determined Place at a certain day and time that can be organized on “The Table”
Terms and Conditions (or Terms)
These Terms of Service, which constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and the Owner.
“The Table” is free for users: the cost to pay is only for the internet connection and data consumption
Hosts pay a fee for each guests they receive thanks to The Table software and all costs of their connection / data consumption
The cost of the fee is indicated below
Content provided by the User
Users, Hosts and Organizers are responsible for their own content and that of third parties that they share through The Table, that they upload and post on or through The Table, or that they transfer by any other means. Users indemnify the Owner for any liability or claim arising against the Owner in connection with illegal distribution of third-party content or unlawful use of the service.
The Owner does not moderate the content provided by Users or by third parties but will act if complaints are received from Users or if orders are issued by the public authorities regarding content deemed offensive or illegal.
Rights over content provided by Users, Hosts or Organizers
By submitting, posting or displaying content on or through The Table, the Users, Hosts and Organizers grant a license to the Owner without territorial limits, non-exclusive, royalty-free and with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content in any media or via distribution methods currently available or developed later.
USE OF SERVICES AND SITE: NOTICE AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The Table manages its business and software from Italy and does not guarantee that the Site and the App are suitable for use or accessible in any geographical area.
The Table will use to the extent reasonably possible all its abilities and attentions to try to maintain the availability of the Site and the functionality of the Services, even if it does not guarantee that the Site and the Services are available at all times.
In particular, any liability for the event in which the malfunction of the Services or the Site depends on 8for example and not limited to) unauthorized or incorrect use of the software, failure or partial bad operation of The Table servers, computers or equipment; responsibility of providers or telephone line managers; malfunctions of the Internet or telephone connections; in general, any event not attributable to The Table or its employees; unauthorized access to the The Table computer system by The Table or by a third party; force majeure or otherwise not dependent on the will or the fault of The Table
The software contains links to other websites, to which users or Hosts could be redirected. These websites are not monitored or controlled by The Table and therefore we are not responsible for them.
The software contains pictures and personal informations and also allows its users and hosts to write in public chats: we our best to monitor everything but for any issue or report please contact
For any reason The Table is responsible of a content provided by a user, a host or an organizer
Anyway the Table has the right to change any content against this terms and conditions or any content that seems to offend anyone or violate a general national law or good commons sense
Content provided by third parties
Users, Hosts and Organizers may use third-party services or content included in The Table, but they must be aware of these third parties’ terms and conditions and have given consent to them. Under no circumstances will the Owner be deemed liable in relation to the proper functionality or availability, or both, of third-party services.
Relationship between Users, Organizers and Hosts
The Table is not part of the relationship between Users, Organizers, Hosts and/or any Place. The Table exempts from any responsibility for the availability and conditions of the Places themselves and tables. The Table is also not responsible for any lack of public authorizations or any other similar issue of Places and or Hosts on the platform
Organization arrangements, handling and payment of the events
Registering for an event on a social table – commissions
At the moment of registration for an event, Users and Organizers receives a summary containing the details of the event and the possible participation costs. Users and Organizers will pay the Hosts as much as written in the Event details or description (like for example “all you can eat” for a fee) or they will pay for what they will order. The Table will charge a commissions from Hosts for each User or Organizer attending an Event at their Place. Commissions might change due to the average of the incomes of the hosts:for any information please refer to firstname.lastname@example.org
Hosts can list all events they desire: after the events end, The Table assumes that all registered Users or Organizers joined the event so after 24 hours from events start, The Table will charge the commission, actually 1 Token for each User or Organizers. The Table can charge the fee and the commissions anytime. The cost of 1 token is flexible. This cost can change anytime Hosts can buy Tokens in the dedicated page. Hosts can create events only if they have 5 or more Tokens in their profile. Hosts can mark Users or Organizer who haven’t showed up at the Event, so commissions will not be charged for them.

The Table will not reimburse any Host or Organizer for Users not showing up.
The Table will not reimburse any user for any reason or problem connected to the software “The Table”: for example and not limited to
- There are no seats in a place even if booked on The Table
- Problems with the bill at the end of the event/table
- Problems of any kind between users
- Not permitted access due to dress code in an even/table
Hosts or any owner or manager of any Place listed on The Table will not consider The Table responsible for missed reservations, empty events or empty tables, damaged caused from Users or Organizers during an event booked or advertised on The Table
The Token bought are not refundable. For any problem regarding refunds or for general support please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The Table will not refund any expense connected to law issue, including and not limited to requests of refund due to a bad functionality of the software
The Service is provided “as is”
The Service is provided by the Owner “as is”, with no express or implied warranty for accuracy or availability.
The software might not be good for users or hosts or organizer. Might not work. Might be suspended. Might be not profitable to hosts. Might have IT problems. Might be designed badly for some devices or might not work in some devices. For these and similar reason The Table will not be considered responsible
Service interruption and updates
The Owner reserves the right to add and remove functionalities or features as well as suspend or even discontinue the Service, either temporarily or permanently. In case of final discontinuation, the Owner will do the utmost to allow users to withdraw their information hosted by the Owner.
Users, Organizers, Hosts are not allowed to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of The Table and of its service without the Owner’s express written permission
Users, Organizers and Hosts agrees to indemnify and hold the Owner, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders, partners and employees, as the case may be, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the User’s content, use of or connection to the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
Users, Organizers, Hosts may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works based on The Table or any portion of it;
- circumvent any technology used by The Table or its licensors to protect content accessible via it;
- copy, store, edit, change, prepare any derivative work of or alter in any way any of the content provided through The Table;
- use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape, or index any portion of The Table or its content;
- rent, lease or sublicense The Table;
- defame, abuse, harass, use threatening practices, threaten or violate the legal rights of others in any other way (such as rights of privacy and publicity);
- disseminate or publish content that is unlawful, obscene, illegitimate, defamatory or inappropriate;
- publish and advertise the same Event on other platforms (excluding Facebook and Instagram business pages of the single Hosts/Place);
- promote (for example through private messages or on the chat of the events) any other platform, place, event, or commercial service without the express consent of the Owner;
- create more than one personal account;
- provide any false personal information on The Table, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission;
- organize fake or not verifiable Table/Events;
- post unauthorized communications on The Table to promote products, activities or initiatives not directly related to The Table events;
- us The Table in any form against national law, good commons sense or offending anyone
- use The Table in any other improper way that violates these Terms.
If a User, Hosts, Organizer violates the letter or spirit of this Statement, or otherwise creates risk or possible financial or legal exposure for The Table, the platform can stop providing all or part of The Table to him. We will notify him by email or at the next time he attempts to access his account.
All trademarks, nominal or figurative, and all other marks, trade names, service marks, word marks, illustrations, images, or logos that appear concerning The Table are, and remain, the exclusive property of the Owner or its licensors and are protected by the laws in force on trademarks and by related international treaties. It is also protected by copyright the claims “The Table, new people anytime, anywhere” – “just seat” – “occupythetable” –
Users declare to be adult according to their applicable legislation. Under no circumstance persons under the age of 18 may use The Table
Limitations of liability
The Owner, within the limits as currently set out by the applicable legislation, is liable for damage under contract and in tort to the Users or third parties only when such damage is the immediate and direct consequence, through willful misconduct or gross negligence, of the activity of The Table.
The User expressly releases and exempts the Owner from any liability, to the extent permitted by the applicable law, relating to possible damage or claims of any kind, including direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special damages related to loss of profits, loss of revenues, loss of data or costs of substitution consequential or anyhow connected to the present agreement.
Users, Organizers, Hosts use The Table at their own risk.
Changes to these Terms
The Owner reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, informing Users by publishing a notice within The Table.
Users who continue to use The Table after the publication of the changes accept the new Terms in their entirety.
Assignment of contract
The Owner reserves the right to transfer, assign, dispose of by novation or subcontract all or any rights or obligations under these Terms, as long as the User’s rights under the Terms are not affected.
Users may not assign or transfer in any way their rights or obligations under these Terms without the written permission of the Owner.

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that clause will be removed and the remaining provisions shall not be affected and they will remain in force.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute concerning the implementation, interpretation and validity of this agreement are subject to Italian law.
The parties agree to resolve any dispute, within the limits of the applicable law, under the jurisdiction of the Italian courts with the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Rome, Italy.
